Dr. Scott Commins is the William J. Yount Distinguished Professor of Medicine and the Associate Chief for Allergy & Immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.

Dr. Commins’s research and clinical practice is focused on Alpha-gal Syndrome and other food allergies. Originally hailing from Florida, he completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia.
